About Me
Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my website.
My name is Ariana Kizu Rivera and I am a Puerto Rican and Japanese actress.
Growing up I enjoyed visiting my grandmothers Japanese food stand at our local farmers market where I would get to have my favorite soba noodle soup, and then later that week I would be at my Titi's house having her famous rice and beans.
My culture has always been a huge part of my life, apparently mostly through the food, but hey, I'm not complaining!
My diverse background is extremely important to who I am, and I find it to be such a gift to be able to celebrate that in the theatre that I do. I believe theatre and the arts are a powerful way to inspire chance in our world. In that spirit I would like to share with you my favorite reason to do theatre: to comfort the afflicted, and to afflict the comfortable.
I hope to continue to be a part of theatrical projects in the future that inspire chance in our communities.
Outside of theatre I love to do all sorts of crafts, and I am a huge Disney lover. I have also worked in the child care field for around eight years now, and I absolutely adore working with children. Since October of 2022 I have been the music teacher for a local daycare, and I have been having a blast sharing my love of music with the children there.
I am extremely proud to have graduated in 2021 with my BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University.
I am also the fur mama to my Eng-a-Poo Eloise and my black cat Jinx.
